Mission Statement:

To promote awareness and prevention of domestic violence through education and public service.

Vision:

Heather’s Hope Foundation strongly believes that every woman and child has the right to live a healthy, safe, and fulfilling life free of fear and abuse. It is our desire, through fundraising efforts such as golf tournaments, 5k Runs, wine festivals, etc. to establish programs in the areas of education and community service.

Early prevention of domestic violence is a passion of the foundation. Our slogan, Domestic Violence ……Nip in it the Bud says it all. We are committed to promoting awareness and prevention of teen dating abuse.

Heather’s love of children and learning was evident through her commitment to education and her students. As a lasting legacy to her memory, the foundation will provide scholarships to students seeking degrees in education that demonstrate outstanding character, commitment and compassion for others.

Victims who are currently in an abusive situation need help to guide them safely out of that relationship.  Heather’s Hope Foundation plans to establish a media blitz that will include posters, brochures and radio PSAs that will provide information and hot line numbers for victim’s advocacy groups and programs. We feel that these media pieces need to be placed in strategic places, such as doctor’s offices, hair/nail salons, churches etc. to have the maximum exposure to victims of all backgrounds.
